Fundraising

IAFFPE is a government recognized 501(c)3. You can help raise tax deductible funding for IAFFPE and, in the process, raise awareness on behalf of the entire FPIES community. We’re here to assist you every step of the way, including event brainstorming, fundraising letters, press releases, the application process for venues, and the logistics of the event. Please contact us to begin this rewarding process. Here are a few ideas to help get you started:

Sample Fundraising Letters and Templates

We’ve included two sample fundraising letters below, one that was used for a local fundraising event and another aimed a receiving a local grant from a corporate sponsor.

Also included below is a template for a fundraising letter that you can personalize and send to potential sponsors of your event. Feel free to share your connection to FPIES; this is not only to fundraise, but also to spread awareness about the disease.

Host a Local Event

Host a walk, run, dinner, silent auction, bowl-a–thon, dine and share, dance—the possibilities are endless. Events can be as small or large as you would like, and we can help with the planning. Just contact IAFFPE at for assistance.

Jeans for FPIES

Rally your coworkers to raise funds for FPIES. Employees pay/donate $5.00 and in return they are can wear jeans to work for the day. Your employer can even match the funds raised to double the donation. All money collected is donated to the IAFFPE.

Awareness Bracelets

This is a great way to raise funds and awareness amongst your family and friends. These FPIES awareness bracelets can be a purchased by friends and family, given as a gift or an embellishment to a package, or sold as part of the event you are hosting. The bracelets are grey with the message STRENGTH, HOPE, UNITY. Bracelets can be purchased by contacting IAFFPE at .

IAFFPE is here to help guide you through the process of fundraising or planning your event. We can provide templates, sample documents, and publicity materials that have been used in past FPIES fundraising events.

Hosting an event doesn’t have to be an overwhelming experience; we want to make sure you find the joy that comes from holding a successful event. In addition, IAFFPE can provide documentation of your fundraising efforts for tax purposes. Please contact for more information and help in your fundraising efforts.
